Bananas
Bananas are the most commonly eaten fruit. That being said, they are also very commonly wasted. Bananas are typically grown in hot, tropical regions. Once they are picked, they are sent to nearby packing shed, where they are cut, sorted, washed, dried, and labeled for packaging. Bananas are easy to ripe and rot, therefore they must be kept at a lower temperature during transportation. They are normally shipped via air, boat, and trucks, and most of the time a combination of all of these shipping methods. Bananas may travel more than 1,000 miles from Costa Rica to the U.S., and then to stores, and then our home. This process used a lot of energy and generated lots of Co2. With this said, please do not waste your banana. Buy the amount you can eat!

Looking back, I have let a lot of bananas go to waste. I will keep this in mind for the next time I go buy fruits!
wonderful post, very informative. I ponder why the opposite specialists of this sector don’t realize this. You should proceed your writing. I’m sure, you’ve a great readers’ base already!
